Every So Often Links #2|The Who’s and What’s of This Week

When a wall divide us, how we view that wall can change merely by what side we find ourselves on. It wasn’t long ago we fought to tear down a wall, and in this video, Beau of the Fifth Column talks about NBC helping to build a tunnel under that wall.

The Who’s remastered a video from a live performance at Shepperton Studios in 1978, and it really looks like this was done last week.

Anyone’s engine can break down – always remember it’s okay to call the coast guard.

Lastly, an oceanographer/engineer named Derya Akkaynak has created an algorithm that removes water’s blue/green haze in underwater pictures, creating brilliant images of life under the sea. I have no idea where to begin creating that sort of algorithm, but I’m happy she did.
